Mount Huashan is one of China’s most notable and adventurous mountains with an altitude of 2,160 meters (7,087 feet) and also one of the five sacred mountains in China famous for its sheer cliffs, ancient history, religious sites and magnificent views. In addition, it is also known for a variety of temples and other religious structures on its ridges and peaks. It is about 120 kilometers (74.6 miles) east of Xi'an.
