Your guide will take you to a protected Dryland “forest” to learn about this unique west Hawaiian ecosystem. Take a guided walk and view many plants that are found only in Hawaii and see the area where they are being brought back to health. The Hawaiian leeward dryland “forest” is not like other places that you will visit in Hawaii, it will surprise you with how the Dryland “forest” used to look and how conservation and stewardship is bringing it back to the natural state. You will have exclusive access to a privately owned dry forest to explore a part of the island that few are able to see.
