11-Day Thailand and Laos Adventure Tour from Bangkok

This 11-day small group adventure tour starts in Bangkok, travels north via Ayutthaya and Chiang Mai, before crossing into Laos at Houay Xai. Journey down the Mekong River by private boat to experience traditional village life in a home-stay at Ban Pak Nguey; marvel at the beautiful architecture and sacred sites in the UNESCO World Heritage town Luang Prabang. Travel through mountainous terrain and breathtaking views to Vang Vieng for river tubing, cycling or hot air ballooning; before heading to the capital Vientiane. An overnight train back to Bangkok finishes our tour. Accommodation is in a mix of Guesthouses, Hotels, 1 home stay.and 2 overnight trains.
